De Saram House is a Geoffrey Bawa house on Ward Place in Colombo 7, cared for by the Geoffrey Bawa Trust and open to a small number of overnight guests.
In 1986 Bawa reworked two small houses here into one home for Druvi and Sharmini de Saram. Druvi de Saram is one of Sri Lanka's best-known pianists, and Bawa planned the house around a music room at its centre. In April 2019 the Trust took over the house after restoring it fully with the de Saram family.
The restoration also brought out art from Bawa's own collection and the de Saram family's, including works by the '43 Group, the painters who shaped modern Sri Lankan art in the 20th century. They hang through the house as part of the stay.
