The chair folds flat for storage and transport, collapsing to a width of 12.75 inches when closed, which means it fits into a car boot or a hotel wardrobe without difficulty. The seat is 20 inches wide and 16 inches deep, with a height from the floor that can be set anywhere between 18 and 20 inches to suit the user. Width between the armrests is 20.75 inches, and the overall standing height of the chair is 35 inches. The footplate, heel loops, armrests, and adjustable-height seat are all standard fitments. The frame is finished with a protective coating against rust.
The wheel locks — positioned beside the rear wheels — are intended for stationary use only: they hold the chair in place while the user transfers in or out of the seat, and should always be fully engaged before any transfer.
