About this experience
Your Lakpura chauffeur collects you from your Unawatuna hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and drives you to Udawalawe National Park — one of Sri Lanka's most reliable destinations for elephant sightings. The full-day private excursion runs for seven hours in total, with a three-hour jeep safari at its heart. Scan the open plains and grasslands for herds of wild elephants, as well as water buffalo, crocodiles, and a wide range of bird species. A one-litre bottle of mineral water per person is provided for the journey.
Your English-speaking chauffeur accompanies you throughout, handling all logistics so you can focus on the wildlife. Note that National Park entrance tickets, meals, and gratuities are not included and are settled separately on the day. Minimum age for this private tour is five years.
