About this experience
Step into a private jeep at Udawalawe National Park and spend three hours scanning the open plains and grasslands for Sri Lanka's iconic wild elephants. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide knows the park's trails well, pointing out herds gathered near the reservoir alongside buffalo, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife. A chilled water bottle is provided to keep you comfortable throughout the safari.
The full-day excursion runs nine hours door to door, with hotel pickup and drop-off included from Bentota in an air-conditioned vehicle. Entrance tickets to the park are not included and should be arranged separately. Children aged five and above are welcome on this private tour, making it a practical choice for families travelling along Sri Lanka's southern coast. Lakpura organises the logistics so you arrive at the park ready to explore.
