This is a private road transfer between Colombo (CMB) Airport and Jetwing Sea, chartered as a whole vehicle with its own English-speaking chauffeur-guide. The hotel stands on the beach at Palangaturai in Kochchikade, on the northern side of Negombo about 4.7 km from the town centre, and Negombo Beach is 0.8 km away. It is one of the shortest transfers from the airport: the drive usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic on the day.
After a long flight there is nothing to arrange. Your chauffeur-guide meets you in the arrivals lobby, with 60 minutes of free waiting time included, helps with your luggage and drives you straight to the hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, with 500 ml of bottled water per person on board and our support team on call 24/7. Add your flight number when you book so the pickup is timed to your arrival.
The transfer works in either direction: book it for your arrival, for the drive back to the airport at the end of your stay, or once for each. Choose the vehicle to suit your party and luggage, from a car for one or two travellers up to a mini coach for groups of up to 15. The fare covers the whole vehicle rather than a seat, and it already includes airport entry and parking charges, highway tolls, taxes and service charges.
The fare does not cover extra stops along the way, baby or booster seats, oversized luggage such as surfboards or golf bags, transport for differently-abled passengers, or pets. Your chauffeur chooses the best route on the day, and once you are settled at the hotel a boat ride along the Dutch canal and the Muthurajawela Wetlands are within easy reach of Negombo.
