The Spa Ceylon Neroli Jasmine Natural Twigs Room Aromizer is a small reed-style diffuser for the home: a 50ml bottle of scented oil paired with a bundle of dried natural twigs that draw the fragrance up and let it into the room. It belongs to the Spa Ceylon Ayurveda home fragrance range.
The scent is a blend of neroli, orange, bergamot and jasmine essential oils, combined with natural fragrance compounds. Neroli is the oil distilled from the blossom of the bitter orange tree, so the blend pairs citrus peel and orange flower with the heavier sweetness of jasmine.
The tall carton is printed all over with a repeating pattern of yellow and orange flower medallions on a dark ground, with the product name set in a black panel on the front. The motifs are drawn from traditional art of the royal palaces of the ancient Kingdom of Ceylon. Inside are the room aromizer and the natural twigs.
Setting it up follows the steps printed on the carton. Unscrew the neck-ring of the bottle and remove the inner cap, then replace the neck-ring, insert the twigs and stand the bottle on a level surface. To refresh the scent, take the twigs out, turn them upside down and put them back in.
It is made in Sri Lanka by Janet Lanka (Pvt) Ltd of Colombo, the company behind Spa Ceylon. The carton describes it as an Ayurveda preparation and marks it for aroma use only.
