SLADC Peenus Thailaya is a herbal oil cooked in a sesame oil base with pungent kitchen spices, and applied to the skin.
The corporation lists red onion (Allium cepa), asafoetida (Ferula assa-foetida, perumkayam), ginger (Zingiber officinale, inguru), black pepper (Piper nigrum, gammiris), long pepper (Piper longum, thippili) and sesame oil (thala thel). It is for external use only. It is packed in 28 ml, 100 ml, 375 ml and 750 ml bottles.
