A Sinhala grammar revision book for candidates sitting the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination. It gathers the grammar questions set in the Sinhala Language and Literature paper across a long run of past examinations, together with the answers to them, in a single volume.
The approach is straightforward: rather than explain grammar as an abstract system, the book works through what examiners have actually asked, so that a student can see the forms the questions take and the kind of answer each one calls for. It is arranged as practice and reference material for the examination itself, and is intended to help candidates prepare for the grammar component with the papers in front of them.
Compiled by Kumari Dhanushika Manathunga and published by M. D. Gunasena & Co., a Colombo publishing house with a long-standing list of Sinhala educational titles.
Please note: the text is entirely in Sinhala. There is no English translation, and the questions, answers and explanatory matter all assume a reader working in Sinhala. Buyers outside Sri Lanka should be comfortable reading the language before ordering.
