Pletoge Janarajaya is a Sinhala translation of Plato's Republic by I.M.D. Bandara, published by Godage International Publishers. The cover carries the English title Plato's Republic above the Sinhala one, and the translator's name with his degree from London and diploma in education from Peradeniya.
The Republic is Plato's Socratic dialogue in which Socrates leads a discussion on justice, the order of a just city-state and what makes a person just. This edition presents that work to readers in Sinhala.
The cover reproduces the central figures of Raphael's fresco The School of Athens, Plato pointing upwards beside Aristotle, framed against a violet and sky-blue ground. It is a slim paperback, written in Sinhala.
