About this experience
Spend a night inside Wasgamuwa National Park on this private two-day camping and safari experience. Two three-hour safari sessions take you into the tree-studded plains in the morning and afternoon, guided by experienced tour guides. Watch herds of elephants move across the park, spot water buffalo, purple-faced langur and toque macaque monkeys, golden palm civet, and hundreds of bird species that nest or migrate here. Park entrance tickets, a tour guide, and full-board meals are all organised by Lakpura.
As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for a three-course B.B.Q dinner with limited chilled beer included. Bed down on fine mattresses with clean linen and fluffy pillows, falling asleep to the sounds of nightbirds and the forest around you. Separate washrooms are provided on site. The tour is private and open to guests aged five and above. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included, so arrange your own transport to and from the park.
