This is a Sinhala-language title, written and printed entirely in Sinhala script. Readers without Sinhala will not be able to use it.
It belongs to the Gunasena Lihini series, a line of small Sinhala books begun in the mid-twentieth century by M. D. Gunasena & Co. and modelled on the Penguin paperbacks then being published in the United Kingdom. The series found a wide readership in its day, and the publisher has brought it back in a fresh design and format in response to requests from readers. This volume, by P. B. Alwis Perera, is one of those reissues.
M. D. Gunasena & Co. is a long-established Colombo publisher and bookseller. The Lihini books carry the format and intent of the original series: compact, affordable Sinhala titles meant to be read widely rather than shelved.
