This FBOP black tea comes in the Malwatte Valley Best Sellers Tea Choice box, the newer pink and green printed design with rolling tea hills, a Loose Leaf Tea badge, Pure Ceylon Tea and 150g net weight on the front.
FBOP stands for flowery broken orange pekoe, a broken-leaf grade with some lighter tip in it. The small pieces brew quickly and give a strong, full-coloured cup. Malwatte Valley Plantations grows tea on about 4,500 hectares in the Uva region and processes it in its own factories.

How to brew
Allow one teaspoon (about 2.5 g) per cup, pour on freshly boiled water and brew for 3 to 4 minutes. Take it plain as kahata or add milk and sugar.
Storage
Once opened, fold the inner pack closed or tip the leaf into an airtight caddy, and keep it in a cool, dry place away from strong smells.
