Night of 1000 Stars is the signature blend of Mabroc's Legends Tea Collection, a range that sits at the heart of what this Sri Lankan tea house set out to do when it began sending Ceylon tea to the world. It is a loose-leaf specialty tea combining pure Ceylon black tea and green tea with rose blossoms, marigold flower, orange blossoms, and a strawberry flavour — a composition that is florid without being fussy, and which works equally well served hot or poured over ice.
The blend carries the Ceylon Tea Symbol of Quality, the certification issued by Sri Lanka's Tea Board that confirms the tea is authentically sourced and packed in Sri Lanka. Mabroc itself is a member of the Hayleys PLC group, whose plantation network spans dozens of tea gardens and both black and green tea factories across the island, supplying teas to more than fifty countries. That breadth of sourcing is what allows a blend like this one to be consistent across seasons.
The 150g size comes in a tin caddy with a fitted lid — a format that keeps loose leaf in better condition than a paper or foil pack, and one that continues to be useful once the tea is finished. The brewing instruction on the tin calls for fully boiling water at 100°C, one tablespoon of leaf per cup, and a steep of three minutes. That is a slightly shorter brew than many black teas, which keeps the floral notes forward and the tannins in check. The tin should be stored in a cool, dry place away from strong odours, as the blend will readily absorb them.
The listing also offers a 200g size and a 200g Ali Baba format, so there is a practical option whether you are buying for everyday use or looking for something to give. The tin itself, with its label design, makes the presentation self-contained — no additional wrapping needed.
