It covers the themes prescribed for Grade Five Sinhala, and sets practice questions of the kind that may be asked at the Scholarship Examination, the national test sat at this stage of schooling in Sri Lanka. Answers are supplied with the questions, which makes it usable by a pupil working alone as well as by a parent or teacher marking the work.
