About this experience
Pedal away from Galle on a private, easy 12-kilometre cycling tour that keeps you well off the tourist trail. Your English-speaking local guide leads you along dirt and gravel tracks through lagoon-side landscapes, mangroves, and working villages at a pace that suits you — the full ride typically takes two and a half to three hours. Watch fishermen set crab traps, spot the fauna and flora of the lagoon's edge, and stop to chat with residents going about their day. A bike sized to fit you, a helmet, and water and refreshments are all included.
This is a private tour, so the route moves at your rhythm. Minimum age is 12. Lakpura handles all government taxes and service charges, so there are no surprises at checkout. Personal expenses and gratuities for your guide are not included.
