Jaf Tea Black Tea Passionfruit is a fruit-flavoured Ceylon black tea in a white carton of 20 envelope tea bags. Tangy, sweet and exhilarating, it balances vibrantly sweet and tangy fruit flavours with Ceylon tea.
The ingredients are short: Ceylon black tea, passionfruit flavour at 2%, and passionfruit juice granules. The black tea is Rainforest Alliance Certified, and the box bears the Ceylon Tea lion logo and an Ethical Tea mark for tea packed at origin.
Each bag comes in its own envelope, and the box holds 20 of them at 1.5g each, 30g in all. Use one tea bag per person, add boiling water and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes. It is good hot or cold, and the box is best kept in a cool, dry place.
The tea is made by Jafferjee Brothers of Colombo, the family firm behind Jaf Tea, which has been making tea since 1944. It is pure Ceylon tea packed in Sri Lanka, offered here as a single box or as a pack of six.
