About this experience
Step into your private jeep at Hurulu Eco Park and spend three hours tracking Sri Lanka's wildlife through one of the island's most rewarding biosphere reserves. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, scanning the dry-zone scrub for wild Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, and deer while helping you identify the native and migratory birds that fill the canopy overhead. The jeep seats a maximum of six passengers, keeping the experience genuinely private and unhurried. A bottle of water per person is provided, and Lakpura arranges complimentary pickup and drop-off from any location within 5 km of the park gate.
Entrance fees for jeep-only bookings are paid in cash on arrival, so bring local currency. Food, drinks beyond the included water, and gratuities are not covered. The minimum age for this safari is five years, making it a practical choice for families travelling with young children.
