Harischandra Unroasted Curry Powder is the light, raw Sri Lankan curry blend, ground without roasting. The 100g pack lists coriander, cumin, fennel, cinnamon, curry leaves, dill seeds and rampe (pandan).
The fresher, milder flavour suits vegetables, dhal and white coconut milk curries, where a roasted powder would be too heavy. There is no chilli in the blend, so the heat is up to the cook. Harischandra has packed spices at Matara since 1958.
