About this experience

This nine-day private tour pairs a golfing holiday with a tour of Sri Lanka's cultural heartland and coast, taking in three of the island's best-known courses at three different elevations: Royal Colombo Golf Club, the Victoria Golf and Country Resort near Kandy, and the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club in the hill country. Between rounds, the route runs from Colombo up to Kandy and the tea country of Nuwara Eliya before finishing on the beach at Negombo.

Alongside the golf, travellers see the sights of Colombo, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy and take in a traditional Kandyan dance show, then wind down with time on the sand at Negombo before departure. It suits golfers travelling with non-golfing companions as well as couples or groups wanting a mix of sport, culture and coast.

The tour is run throughout by a chauffeur guide in a private vehicle, with hotel stays, meals, entrance fees and green fees arranged separately so the pace and tee times can be set to suit the travellers.
