This George Steuart loose leaf combines Ceylon green tea with jasmine flowers and marigold petals, finished with jasmine flavour. The jasmine gives a sweet floral scent over the fresh, grassy green tea.
In the pack
- 100 g of loose leaf tea
- Metal caddy
What is in it
Ceylon green tea with natural jasmine flowers, marigold and jasmine flavour.
How to brew
Use one level teaspoon (about 2 g) per cup. Let the kettle stand a moment after boiling, then pour the water over the leaf and steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Longer steeping can turn green tea bitter. Serve without milk.
Storage
Green tea and flowers lose their scent quickly, so keep the caddy firmly closed, somewhere cool and dry and away from strong smells.
George Steuart Teas is the tea company of George Steuart and Co., founded in Ceylon in 1835. It buys, blends and packs its teas at its own facility near Colombo.
