Neem Oil (Kohomba Thel, also sold as Margosa oil) is a pure neem oil from Gampaha Wickramarachchi, listed by the maker among its natural oils.
It comes from the neem tree, kohomba in Sinhala (Azadirachta indica), a tree used in Sri Lankan Ayurveda for centuries. Neem oil is one of the five oils blended in the maker's Pas Thel lamp oil, and the same tree is the base of its Nimbadhi balm. It has a strong, bitter smell typical of neem.
