Dumbara Chocolate Pudding, a ready to eat chocolate custard made with kithul jaggery, in a 450ml cup that serves five. Dumbara sweetens it with kithul jaggery, the set sap of the Sri Lankan kithul palm, which sits well with the dark cocoa.
Fresh milk, eggs, cocoa powder and chocolate chips are cooked with the jaggery into a dense, smooth pudding. Serve it cold, on its own or with cream or ice cream.
