Lapsang Souchong, with its smoky, oaky flavour, was once a closely guarded Chinese tea. Dilmah t-Series The First Ceylon Souchong offers the same strong, smoky character with a Ceylon difference.
It is a single estate tea from the Galle District, gently pan-fried using cinnamon wood. The result is a prominent woodsmoke note with a touch of juiciness and sweetness in the finish. Part of the Very Special Rare Tea (VSRT) selection.
