DG Labookellie PEKOE Full Leaf Curly Black Tea is a loose Ceylon black tea in the Pekoe grade from the DG Labookellie range. Pekoe is a whole-leaf grade with short leaves rolled into curls, which give a fuller body than an OP while staying smooth. The tea comes from Labookellie, one of the oldest and largest tea estates in Sri Lanka, on the western slopes of the Nuwara Eliya District, where the fields lie above 4,900 feet. That makes it a high-grown Ceylon tea, the hill-country style known for a bright, brisk cup.
Drink it plain or with milk. The curled leaf keeps well in an airtight tin.

How to brew
Use one level teaspoon of leaf per cup and freshly boiled water, and brew for three to five minutes, longer for a stronger cup.
