Damro Labookellie Golden Tips Tea (50g)

Damro Labookellie Golden Tips is made from the golden stems of the purple tea bush, the TRI 2043 clone, plucked by hand on the Labookellie estate. The golden tips are among the rarest and most prized teas of the island.

Labookellie is one of the oldest and largest tea estates in Sri Lanka, in the Dimbula growing region of the Nuwara Eliya District, with tea fields above 4,900 feet. Brew with water just off the boil, a heaped teaspoon per cup, for four to five minutes; drink it plain.
