About this experience
Board your air-conditioned vehicle from your Unawatuna hotel and head to Bundala National Park — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a Birdlife International Important Bird Area, and Sri Lanka's first Ramsar wetland site. Your English-speaking chauffeur handles the drive so you arrive ready to explore.
At Bundala, swap the car for a jeep and spend three hours scanning the lagoons and scrublands for flamingos, elephants, crocodiles, and the park's celebrated birdlife. The full day runs seven hours door to door. Entrance tickets are not included and should be purchased on arrival. Children aged five and above are welcome on this private tour.
