Buddha Charithaya is a Sinhala collection of past examination questions and answers for the Buddha Charithaya paper, the life of the Buddha, in Sri Lanka's Dhamma school final certificate examination. The cover sets out its scope as the past papers from 2003 to 2012.
The book is compiled by the Venerable Dharmacharya Yatadolawatte Jinasiri Thera, and the cover states that it is printed with the written permission of the Sri Lanka Department of Examinations. It is published by Godage International Publishers.
The whole book is in Sinhala. Its cover carries a line drawing of a prince seated in a horse-drawn chariot beside his charioteer, printed on yellow and olive, with the title in large Sinhala letters above it.
Gathering past questions with their answers in one volume, it serves as a revision book for the Buddha Charithaya paper of the final certificate.
