This powder from Bowatte is made from dried moringa leaves, the drumstick tree known in Sri Lanka as murunga. It is a fine green powder with a grassy, slightly bitter taste, packed by the family dispensary in Kandy.

How it is used
Directions on the pack: one to two teaspoons mixed into milk or natural fruit juice, twice a day.

Storage
Close the pack tightly after opening and keep in a cool, dry place away from light.
