Lemongrass essential oil from Bowatte, in a 20ml bottle. The oil is drawn from the lemongrass plant by steam distillation, which gives a thin, pale yellow liquid with a clean, citrus scent close to fresh lemon peel.
How it is used
- A few drops in an aroma diffuser or oil burner to scent a room
- A few drops in a warm bath, first mixed with a carrier oil
- Added to water in a spray bottle as a home room spray
- Blended with a carrier oil such as coconut or almond oil before it touches the skin
Essential oils are strong: never apply undiluted, keep away from the eyes, do not swallow, and keep out of reach of children and pets.
