About this experience
Step into a private, air-conditioned vehicle in Colombo and head south along Sri Lanka's coast for a full-day tour covering three distinct stops. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide takes you first to Lunuganga, the country estate of Sir Geoffrey Bawa — the visionary who swapped law for architecture and shaped the landscape over decades. Next, visit Meetiyagoda before finishing the day on the water with a boat safari along the Madu River, where mangroves line the banks and river life unfolds at a leisurely pace.
Hotel pickup and drop-off from Colombo are included, along with entrance fees to the listed sites and a water bottle per person. The tour runs for 10 hours and is private, so your group travels at its own pace. Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included. Minimum age is 5. Lakpura organises the full itinerary so you simply show up and enjoy the day.
