Battler Green Tea with Soursop blends smooth Ceylon green tea with soursop, a tropical fruit grown widely in Sri Lanka. It comes as 25 tea bags of 2 g each, 50g in all, from Battler.
The cup is light and lightly fruity, with a gentle tang from the soursop over a mild green tea. Each bag is foil-sealed and packed in a colourful carton to keep the fruit aroma.
In the pack
- 25 foil-sealed tea bags, 2 g each (50g)
- Ingredients: pure Ceylon green tea, soursop pieces, soursop flavour
- Shelf life: 3 years from packing
Tasting notes
A pale green-gold liquor with a fresh tropical aroma, soft fruit and a light tang at the finish.
How to brew
- Use one tea bag per cup.
- Let boiled water cool to about 80 C.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, then lift out the bag.
Serving ideas
Drink it plain, hot or iced. A little honey brings out the fruit. Avoid boiling water and long brewing, which make green tea bitter.
