This is the large 250 g carton of Green Elephant, the plain green tea of the Battler Ceylon Elephant range.
The leaf is pure Ceylon green tea of GP grade, a long, twisted green leaf. Green tea is heated soon after plucking to stop oxidation, which keeps the leaf green and the cup light. The bigger carton suits households and offices that drink green tea every day.

Tasting notes
A clean, grassy cup with light vegetal notes and a pale yellow-green liquor.
How to brew
- Use one teaspoon (about 2.5 g) of leaf per cup.
- Let boiled water cool to about 80 C.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes; longer brewing turns the cup bitter.
Serving ideas
Best plain or with a slice of lemon. Once open, tip the leaf into an airtight jar and keep it away from light and strong smells.
