Green Elephant is the unflavoured green tea of the Battler Ceylon Elephant range. This is the 200 g carton of loose leaf.
The tea is pure Ceylon green tea of GP grade, made from long leaves that are heated soon after plucking so they stay green. It brews a light cup that is easy to drink through the day.

Tasting notes
Light and grassy, with fresh vegetal notes and a pale, clear liquor.
How to brew
- Use one teaspoon (about 2.5 g) of leaf per cup.
- Let boiled water cool to about 80 C.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes; longer brewing turns the cup bitter.
Serving ideas
Drink it plain or with lemon. The same leaf can usually be steeped a second time for a lighter cup.
