This is Earl Grey loose leaf tea from Battler: Ceylon black tea flavoured with bergamot, packed as 100 g of loose leaf in a carton box.
Earl Grey gets its character from bergamot, a citrus fruit whose rind gives a fragrant oil. Battler uses a Ceylon black tea base, so the cup is bright with enough body behind the citrus. Loose leaf lets you brew it as strong or as light as you like.
In the pack
- 100 g of loose leaf tea in a carton box.

- Keep the tea closed, cool and dry, away from strong smells.

A fragrant citrus aroma with a floral edge over a medium-bodied Ceylon black tea.

- Pour on freshly boiled water.
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, then strain.
Serving ideas
Serve black or with a thin slice of lemon, or with a little milk if you prefer. It suits an afternoon pot with sandwiches or cake, and it makes a pleasant iced tea brewed strong and chilled.
