Classic Green from the Battler Original range by Battler is pure Ceylon green tea, packed as 20 tea bags, each in its own paper envelope.
Green tea is dried soon after plucking rather than oxidised like black tea, so it keeps a fresher, greener flavour. This one brews a pale golden liquor with a clean, grassy taste and a light body.
In the pack
- 20 enveloped tea bags of 2 g each (40 g in total).
- Ingredient: pure Ceylon green tea.
- Keep the tea closed, cool and dry, away from strong smells. The maker gives a shelf life of three years.
Tasting notes
Light and smooth, with a fresh grassy aroma, a mild vegetal note and a clean finish.
How to brew
- Use one tea bag per cup.
- Let boiled water cool to about 80 C.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, then lift out the bag.
Serving ideas
Drink it plain, or add a slice of lemon or a few fresh mint leaves. Avoid boiling water, which makes green tea taste bitter.
