Classic Black is the plain black tea of the Battler Original range by Battler: 20 tea bags, each sealed in its own paper envelope, in a printed carton.
It is pure Ceylon black tea with nothing added, made for a quick, strong cup. The leaf infuses fast to an orange-red liquor with a full body and the brisk aroma of a traditional Ceylon tea.
In the pack
- 20 enveloped tea bags of 2 g each (40 g in total).
- Ingredient: pure Ceylon black tea.
- Keep the tea closed, cool and dry, away from strong smells. The maker gives a shelf life of three years.
Tasting notes
Strong and well rounded, with a bright orange-red colour and a clean, brisk finish.
How to brew
- Use one tea bag per cup.
- Pour on freshly boiled water.
- Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, then lift out the bag.
Serving ideas
The envelopes keep each bag fresh, so they travel well in a bag or desk drawer. Drink it with milk and sugar, or black with lemon.
