Basilur Magic Nights is a Ceylon black tea flavoured with strawberry, apricot, pineapple and papaya, packed in string tea bags as part of the Basilur Oriental Collection. It pairs the familiar depth of a black Ceylon cup with a soft, mixed-fruit fragrance, and it is packed in Sri Lanka.
Basilur describes the blend as a special Ceylon black tea with a crisp aroma, a fruit-scented take on the plain black cup rather than a sweet dessert tea. The ingredient line on the box lists pure Ceylon black tea and natural flavours of strawberry, apricot, pineapple and papaya, and the front carries an All Natural Ingredients seal.
The box is the reason many people pick it up. Its midnight-blue carton is printed with a paisley and floral pattern in white, teal and gold framed by an arched, lattice-like outline, with the gold Basilur crest above the Magic Nights name and the Ceylon Tea lion logo at the foot. One narrow side carries a large sweeping Basilur signature in gold script.
Each box holds 25 tea bags of 2g each, 50g in total. The tea is packed by Basilur Tea Export in Sri Lanka, and the box also appears in the catalogue under the name Basilur Oriental Magic Nights.
