Basilur White Magic is a flavoured loose leaf green tea from the Basilur Bouquet Collection, presented in a tin caddy that is as considered as the tea inside it. The blend combines Ceylon green leaf tea with green leaf tea of other origin, and is scented with milk flavouring to produce the characteristic soft, creamy character that defines a Milk Oolong style. The result is a cup that is gentle and rounded, with the grassy freshness of green tea carrying a quiet dairy warmth.
The tea is packed in Sri Lanka by Basilur Tea Export (Pvt) Ltd, a Sri Lankan producer with deep roots in Ceylon tea. The 100g of loose leaf tea sits inside a foil pouch with a zipper lock, keeping the leaves protected from moisture and air between uses. That pouch in turn sits within a metal tin caddy finished in Basilur's signature Bouquet Collection design — an object worth keeping on the counter long after the tea is gone. A holographic security seal bearing the Basilur logo is applied to the tin, allowing buyers to confirm authenticity before opening.
Basilur recommends brewing with water heated to 80°C and steeping for two to three minutes, using roughly one teaspoon of leaf per cup. At that temperature and time, the leaf opens without turning bitter, and the milk character comes through cleanly. The tea works well without added milk or sugar, though both are a matter of personal preference.
White Magic sits alongside Sencha Green, Green Freshness, and Cream Fantasy in the Bouquet Collection — four teas sharing the same format and design ethos, each with a distinct flavour profile. If you are building a gift or simply exploring the range, the consistent tin size makes them easy to pair or store together.
