Matcha is green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis) stone-ground to a fine powder, so the whole leaf is whisked into the cup rather than steeped and thrown away. The Classic grade is the everyday grade, suited to lattes, smoothies and baking as well as plain whisked tea. Like all green tea, it contains caffeine.

- 100% natural matcha green tea
How to use
- Sift one to two teaspoons of matcha into a bowl or cup
- Add about 60ml (2oz) of hot water, around 80C and not boiling, which can make it bitter
- Whisk briskly until smooth and frothy, then drink as it is or top up with milk for a matcha latte
- Also blend into smoothies or mix into cakes, biscuits and desserts
Storage
After opening, seal the pouch tightly and keep it in a cool, dry place.
