Ahmad Tea Green Tea is the company's classic green tea, a blend of carefully sourced teas with a naturally light taste and aroma. It strikes a balance between fresh, dried-grass notes and softer toasted flavours, with a slightly nuttier, more rounded character than many green teas.
Infuse a bag in hot water and the cup turns a pretty golden yellow, with a clean, fresh bouquet. It is an easy green tea for everyday drinking, whether first thing in the morning, after lunch or in the evening. Each tea bag is tagged for easy brewing in a cup or teapot. Ahmad Tea Green Tea is available in a 50g pack of 25 tea bags and a 200g pack of 100 tea bags.
How to brew
Heat fresh water to just below boiling, around 80-90C, and pour it straight over the tea bag. Cover the pot or cup to keep the heat in and steep for 2-3 minutes, then remove the bag and stir lightly.
Ahmad Tea is a family tea company, founded in Southampton, England, in 1986 by Rahim Afshar and his brothers and named after their father.
