Ahmad Tea Ceylon Premium BOPF is an everyday Ceylon black tea, put together from a selection of teas grown in some of Sri Lanka's best gardens. The grade name, BOPF, is short for Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings: small, broken pieces of black tea leaf. Ahmad Tea blends it to give a cup with a rich colour, a delicate aroma and an enjoyable taste.
The larger 400g pack suits a household that drinks tea through the day, or anyone who likes to keep a good stock of a familiar blend. Make it in a pot or by the cup, to the strength you prefer, and drink it straight or with milk and sugar in the Sri Lankan way.
Ahmad Tea is a family tea company, founded in Southampton, England, in 1986 by Rahim Afshar and his brothers and named after their father.
