Ahmad Tea Ceylon Premium BOPF is a black tea blended from a selection of teas from some of the best gardens in Sri Lanka. BOPF stands for Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings, a fine, broken-leaf grade of black tea. The blend is made for a rich colour, a delicate aroma and an enjoyable taste.
Ceylon black tea has long been part of how Sri Lanka is known abroad, and this is an everyday example of it: a dependable pot for the morning, a cup with friends in the afternoon or a drink after dinner. Brew it as strong or as light as you like, and take it plain or with milk and sugar as you prefer. This pack holds 200g of tea.
Ahmad Tea is a family tea company, founded in Southampton, England, in 1986 by Rahim Afshar and his brothers and named after their father. Its Colombo office, opened in 1996, tastes and buys tea at the Colombo tea auction and oversees the packing of Ahmad Tea in Sri Lanka. See the full Ahmad Tea range.
