A collection of short stories in Sinhala by Meemana Premathilake, issued as part of the Lihini Poth series. The title translates roughly as "Mysterious Deaths".
The Lihini Poth format was widely read in its day, and the publisher has brought it back in response to requests from readers, in a new shape and rhythm. This volume is one of those revived titles. The stories are written entirely in Sinhala, with no English text, so the book will suit readers who read the language comfortably, along with collectors of Sinhala popular fiction and the series itself.
M. D. Gunasena & Co. is a long-established Colombo publisher and bookseller working in Sinhala and English, and the Lihini Poth line sits within its Sinhala list.
