Siddhalepa Ayur Intellect Tea (40g) is a caffeine-free herbal tea in 20 sachets, a blend of three herbs: shankhapushpi (Evolvulus alsinoides), jyotishmati seed (Celastrus paniculatus) and gotukola (Centella asiatica). The maker suggests one cup three times a day, after meals.
Gotukola is the small round leaf that Sri Lankans also eat as a mallum, a lightly cooked salad with grated coconut. Ayurveda has long associated all three herbs with the mind. The tea is one of the Ayur herbal tea range, the everyday range of Siddhalepa, alongside Breathe, Cleanse, Flow, Immune, Serene, Slim, Vital and Diacin.
