About this experience
Climb into a tuk-tuk and spend four hours winding through the streets of Negombo with an English-speaking guide at your side. Your private tour takes you to Sri Lanka's second-largest fish market, where the morning catch fills the stalls in vivid colour and noise. From there, you roll past the Dutch Fort — look out for the 1678-inscribed gateway — then on to Angurukaaramulla Temple to see its six-metre reclining Buddha, and St. Mary's Church, whose nave is covered in striking ceiling paintings.
Lakpura arranges round-trip tuk-tuk transfers from your Negombo hotel, so there's nothing to organise on the day. Refreshments are included during the ride. Entrance fees, meals, and gratuities are not covered. Minimum age for this private tour is seven years.
