Rose water from Bowatte, in a 100ml bottle. Rose water is the fragrant water left when rose petals are distilled for rose oil, or made by steeping petals in water. It is clear, with a light floral scent of fresh roses.
How it is used
- In cooking: a few drops to scent milk rice, sweets, desserts, syrups and drinks
- In home cosmetics: mixed with powders such as sandalwood into a face pack paste, or splashed on as a toner
- At temples and in religious observances, where rose water is sprinkled or offered
In the pack
One 100ml bottle. The shop also lists 28ml, 180ml, 375ml and 750ml bottles, but only the 100ml bottle is offered here.
Storage
Keep the cap tight and store in a cool place out of direct sun.
