Jetwing Lighthouse sits on a small hillock shaded by coconut palms at Dadella, Galle, right on the beach of Sri Lanka's south-western coast. The hotel was designed by Jeffrey Bawa, one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated architects, in the tradition of Colonial Dutch architecture associated with Galle's historic fort city. Among his many celebrated works, Jetwing Lighthouse stands as a particularly elegant example — its reception hall alone makes an impression, featuring an outstanding spiral staircase lined with stylised metal sculptures of Portuguese soldiers from the colonial era.

Location

Jetwing Lighthouse is located in Dadella, Galle, approximately 109 km south of Colombo. Guests travelling directly from the airport cover a distance of around 146 km to reach the property.
