A remarkable collection of over 500 yantra drawings incised on palm leaf, representing a distinctive Sri Lankan artistic and spiritual tradition passed down through families of ritual practitioners. The intricate designs depict Buddhist and Hindu deities, spirit beings, shrines, and geometric forms that comprise a visual language rooted in the island's diverse cultural heritage. These sacred manuscripts reflect the convergence of pre-Buddhist spirit veneration, yaksha and naga mythology, Vadda traditions, and multiple Buddhist philosophical systems including Theravada, Mahayana, and Tantrayana practices.
