यला राष्ट्रीय उद्यान, श्रीलंका के दक्षिणी प्रांत में स्थित, देश के सबसे बड़े और सबसे जैव विविध वन्यजीव संरक्षण क्षेत्रों में से एक है। यह झाड़ी के जंगल, घास के मैदान, लैगून और चट्टानी उभारों का एक जटिल मिश्रण है जो प्रजातियों की एक उल्लेखनीय विविधता का समर्थन करता है। पार्क विशेष रूप से तेंदुओं की आबादी के लिए प्रसिद्ध है, जो अन्य तेंदुए के आवासों की तुलना में यहाँ अपेक्षाकृत आवृत्ति के साथ देखे जाते हैं, साथ ही हाथी, स्लॉथ भालू, मगरमच्छ और पक्षियों की समृद्ध विविधता भी है।
