About this experience
Step out of your Ella hotel and into the hills on this private 5-hour guided trek combining two of the region's most iconic sights. Your local guide leads you up to the summit of Little Adam's Peak, pointing out tea plantations, native flora, and fauna along the way. From the top, wide panoramic views stretch across Ella's highland landscape — a rewarding payoff for the climb. Refreshment drinks and cookies keep you going on the trail.
From the peak, the route continues cross-country to the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a striking colonial-era viaduct still used by passing trains. You finish at Demodara Railway Station, home to Sri Lanka's unique looping railroad — an extraordinary feat of engineering found nowhere else on the island. Hotel pick-up and drop-off from Ella, a local guide, and a local lunch are all included. Minimum age is 12. Personal expenses and gratuities are not covered.
